The RTQ Database was created as an way to keep track of disabled guests’ experiences in the parks. by date, without the Disability Access Service (DAS) accommodation since the DAS was changed earlier in 2024. The database is crowdsourced via anonymous surveys, and discussed experiences of many people with varying disabilities. The hope is to track the evolution of how attractions-based “alternate accommodations” are being handled by the attractions CMs – we’re looking for some kind of consistency to emerge that allows disabled guests to have some kind of idea of how things may go at various attractions.
The RTQ Database is current as of 8:30 PM, Eastern Time, 7/18/2025.

History of the RTQ Database Project
The original iteration of the database was published on June 30, and has since grown tremendously. It was becoming hard to quickly find the information you were looking for, and therefore a formatting change became necessary. This is not the final format planned for the database, but will be an intermediate version. A future table format is in development but will take more time to work out, as I’m still currently unsure of how to format the table in a way that is accessible to blind and visually impaired users.
Disclaimers
- The database is NOT comprehensive, though we are working to get as many experiences as possible archived here. It will take time to get information for all the attractions in all the parks. The people gathering this info are also disabled, have difficulties in the parks and in the lines, as well as finding the spoons to type up and submit those experiences. Disabled guests often can’t access the parks for more than a few hours, and we’re all working WITHOUT the DAS accommodation that made these parks accessible for us. Therefore, guests may only be riding one ride and then leaving without making it on anything else. It’s going to take time.
- If you’d like to contribute to this database, please navigate to the RTQ Menu and scroll down to the button for the correct survey. Note that there are TWO surveys on this page, one for Disneyland Resort and one for Walt Disney World Resort.
- Just because someone had a specific experience on a ride you plan to check out DOES NOT mean that you will have that same experience. The only way to know what you’ll be told is to try. This is an info-gathering, dated, project that is meant to give guests an IDEA of how things are playing out. However, guests have different abilities and different access needs and the cast members at the attractions have autonomy when it comes to making these decisions, and can grant “one-time exceptions” depending on the circumstances in the parks, the rides, and the party asking for an accommodation. Nothing is guaranteed to be standard procedure on this page.
- “RTQ” or “Return to Queue” is NOT an official system: it’s a made up “title” for the attractions-based “alternate accommodations” from the very early days of “New DAS”. Disney doesn’t use this term or acronym, but it is being shared with this acronym since It’s been widely used since the announcement of the change in April. The official terms for these attractions-based “alternate accommodations” are the “AQR” or Attraction Queue Re-entry (get in the line, exit for a disability related issue, and come back to rejoin your party) and the “LRT” or “Location Return Time” (only available at Disneyland park, this is based on older queues that are not ADA-accessible). This database is NOT set up to specify what rides are “supposed to be” AQR or LRT, only to catalogue the info given at each ride when an accommodation is requested.
- The views and experiences expressed on this page are NOT my own, and are accumulated via anonymous survey. I have NOT been in the parks in the time since the “New DAS” started, and I will not be traveling in the near future. This is NOT because of the DAS changes, but because of my own health issues impacting my ability to travel right now.

Data Migration to the new format is in progress. This new version of the RTQ database should be considered “Under Construction” for the time being. Park navigation buttons may not be working until tomorrow.

Update is in progress, and West Coast has been completed for the week. East Coast is planned to be complete by noon. 9/16 marked 120 days from the beginning of the changes going into effect at Walt Disney World – more to come on that soon. I’ll share an updated look at that data in the next week or so. We are starting to see AP holders who were previously approved having to re-apply and I have already heard of some people being denied after previous approval on 5/20.

Lots has happened in the last week. Disney has modified the approval window for AP and MK Holders to 240 days (if approved for DAS. No changes to qualifying, just a change to the number of days DAS is valid for some guests). Here on the blog, I’ve gotten a handful of posts with insight into the quantitative data shared on the database. Check the blog for info on the most popular attractions, those with the highest chances of disabled guests being able to experience them, and more.

RTQ Database is running late this week due to my focusing on relief efforts and resource gathering for those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Appalachia is dear to my heart, and the devastation is widespread and ongoing. We have family in affected areas in both East TN and the Gulf side of FL, who are all accounted for and safe but so many are not. I put together a Hurricane Helene Resource List (www.accessthemouse.com/helene) for anyone who wants to help contribute to relief efforts (supply drives, monetary contributions, and volunteer info), or who is looking to find resources to help themselves or their loved ones and that will be updated as often as I can make happen for the time being. With lives on the line, that is a huge priority right now. There are still other updates I’m working for the RTQ database, they will be happening, but things are really chaotic, and my wife just had to go on a disability related leave of absence from work a few days ago, so I’m also scrambling to catch extra hours at my “day job” to make ends meet until her Crohn’s is stabilized. This is temporary, and I have faith that things are going to work out, but this is a busy season and I’m really bouncing off the walls keeping up. Bare with me. More is coming soon.

Database is current, but things are still pretty chaotic with work and my wife’s ongoing Crohn’s flare up. Lots of doctors appointments this week between the both of us. Octobers are also notoriously hard for me for the last several years. I am still here, still working on stuff, but haven’t had a lot of time to make content. The next few weeks will probably be busy, but this week is by far the most crammed with appointments. Will be sticking to the previous weekly Sunday night update schedule for at least the rest of October, and then re-evaluate.

Database will be updated Monday this week. Original plan was tonight but I’m exhausted and can’t hang with the middle of the night update tonight.

Database is updated. I’m working on an updated survey coming by hopefully, the end of November. No details to share yet.

Hey all. Thanks for bearing with me running late this week. I got thrown off by the time change Sunday, and then had a lot of allergy-related issues on Monday, including what seemed to be a possible bad reaction to my immunotherapy. I’m now sick with what may be a sinus infection from my allergies. I’m very off-kilter this week.
You can find the previous version of the database here.
