My family has returned from our Walt Disney World Vacation and I have so much to share with everyone, from a real review of the allergy-friendly foods at several restaurants, to info on what rides I was able to fit on, to info on accessing rides and Disney transportation with a mobility device. There are also some things on my list that I wasn’t able to experience this time (Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is at the top of that list), but here’s a quick look at what’s to come in the next several days.
- A look at what my wife (who has celiac disease) and I (with multiple food allergies) were able to eat at restaurants, including the brand new Roundup Rodeo BBQ! (hint: it was AMAZING!)
- Info on accessing many of the newer rides as a plus-size/fat person who uses a mobility device, including TRON Lightcycle/Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
- A sidebar about our experience with the First Aid station at Magic Kingdom for one of the kids.
- A review of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Harmony Barbershop.
- Info on renting scooters in the parks for the first time ever.
- An accessibility review of the wheelchair-accessible room we stayed in at All-Star Movies.
