Yesterday, we pulled our suitcases out of storage and finalized our park pass reservations. There’s not much left to do at this point… check on the kids’ swimsuit situation, put outfits together, handle a grocery run for the allergy-safe foods that I don’t know if I can find in Florida, order any supplies we need to restock before we go (hand sanitizer, masks, sunblock, aloe vera gel, pull ups, etc.)
We’ve also got a couple kids with dentist and doctor appointments this week… honestly, we’ve got a packed week – full of stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with the trip at all. It’s not the way I like to plan a vacation, but it is the hand we’ve been dealt for this trip. I’ve been making up for how rushed everything is feeling right now by listening to a Disney Parks-inspired playlist I put together on Spotify. There’s something about the Disney Parks songs that just really get me feeling energetic and like the world is full of possibilities, even when I’m bogged down by stuff I have to get done. (I love all the songs on this playlist, but I’m stuck between “We Go On” – from IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth and “Un Monde Qui S’Illumine” from Disneyland Paris for a favorite. If you give it a listen, let me know what your favorites are!)
Like I said, this week is going to be pretty crazy, but I’m going to *attempt* to get a post up each day. Thursday is going to be a photodump from EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festivals of the past. Friday will have a food-related post. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, I’m not totally sure what’s coming yet. Expect a Packing List post in here sometime in the next week, as soon as I actually remember to pull mine together. I *do* have a system for packing for any trip (not just a Disney one, but those are definitely my favorite) that I’m more than happy to share.
